Business Retention | Expansion

The BRE team made 18 visits in March and provided assistance to 15 of the companies visited.

The team connects companies to a variety of resources that provide education, training, and other types of support, or potential supply chain partners, customers, and important connections.

A subject brought up frequently by companies visited is transportation.

The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) has numerous options available to support business via its RTC SmartTrips program. These include bus pass subsidies, RTC Vanpool, Commuter Benefits, RTC Rideshare, and the Guaranteed Ride Home backup plan for those that miss their carpool or vanpool connection. Curious about the state of the American Workplace?

Gallup developed the State of the American Workplace report using data collected from more than 195,000 U.S. employees. Over the next few editions of the BRE Executive Update report, we will be sharing some key insights from their report. Why is a focus on employee retention so important? Per the report, “51% of U.S. employees say they are actively looking for a new job or watching for openings.” They go on to add that, “The more that employees believe the job market is opening up, the less likely they may be to stay in a role that doesn’t meet their needs and expectations.” For the full report, (212 pages), go here.

We are all recruiters!
