Sparks, Nev. (Oct. 24, 2014) – Cenntro Automotive Corporation has established its headquarters and manufacturing facility in its ~80,000sf facility located in Sparks, Nevada. Cenntro will manufacture both the Citelec and Kombi EV, all electric commercial utility vehicles at this location and hire up to 300 employees at full production.

Governor Brian Sandoval, Cenntro Automotive executives and The Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) made the announcement today at a press conference at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. Also in attendance was the Governor’s Office of Economic Development , City of Sparks Mayor Geno Martini, numerous business partners including Avison and Young, CB Richard Ellis, IndCor Properties, University of Nevada Reno, and Truckee Meadows Community College, Nevada Job Connect, and Nevada Industry Excellence. Several of Cenntro’s zero-emission commercial vehicles were on display.
