RENO, Nev. (March 24th, 2014) – Garlock Printing & Converting Corporation and the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) announced the opening of a new flexographic printing facility in Reno, Nev. at their location off Woodland Avenue. The move will bring approximately 175 jobs to Reno throughout the next five years, including 17 jobs within the first six months.

Garlock is a world-class printer/converter with operations in Massachusetts for 27 years. Their East Coast facility employees 315 people, and their expansion west will broaden their market and aid their logisitics. With their 24/7 operation Garlock produces packaging for a variety of industries inclusing snack food packaging, fresh cut produce packaging, and even pet food. Their focus is continual quality improvement and extensive traning for all employees.
